Giles Perkins is a Brooklyn-based writer and director from Baltimore, MD. He holds a B.F.A. in Film and Television Production from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, and his work often explores interpersonal conflict shaped by misguided American ideals. In 2026, he founded Horse Opera, a boutique production company focused on short-form storytelling.

A 2025 Sundance Ignite Fellow, Giles' films have screened at numerous Academy Award®-qualifying film festivals, including Tribeca, Atlanta, Nashville, Dallas, and Woodstock. His latest film, You're Not So Lucky, is preparing to enter the festival circuit. He is currently developing his debut feature.
